Seedling (grown from seed). A rare and spectacular species from the tropical rainforests of Peru and Bolivia. Known as one of the “rat-tail Ocidium” for its pendulous, terete leaves. We are growing these very successfully mounted on tree fern slabs with a small amount of sphagnum moss. The plants are growing with our mounted Cattleyas and receive bight, filtered light and daily watering during warm-hot months. These flower for us during the Summer. A truly special species!
The plants offered for sale are mature, flowering-size plants.
