(C. Summer Spot ‘Carmela’ HCC/AOS x L. lyonsii ‘Freckles’)
Seed grown.
A very interesting hybrid from the stables of Claude Hamilton (Hamlyn Orchids, Jamaica). Looking for strong, upright spikes with spotted flowers of heavy substance. The flower photos shows the first plant we have flowered from this grex. The seedlings offered here and flowering size plants in 4.5” pots. Photo #1 shows the flowers on the first seedling we flowered from this grex. Photo #2 shows an example of the size plants offered for sale. Please note that these are seedlings and we do expect variations in color between the them.
These grow well for us in our “Cattleya House”, which receives bright filtered light (2,500-3,000 foot candles) and is watered when the media dries.
