Den. Sheng Yi Bumblebee
(unicum ‘4588’ x Stardust ‘Firebird’)
Grown from seed.
Beautiful, showy Den. unicum hybrid. In the Spring, plants will produces longer, cascading canes of bright orange flowers on even more mature plants. These are flowering size plants in 2.5” pots (some may be previously flowered).
Photo #1 shows the flowers from a sibling plant; Photo #2 shows an example of the size plants offered for sale.
We grow these in our Cattleya house: bright, filtered light (2,000-3,000 foot-candles) and just as the media starts to dry. We recommend planting these in baskets, or mounted, to account for the cascading growth habit.
