Seedlings (grown from seed).
A selfing of our awarded plant whose flowers are darker green than normal. This intriguing Fall- flowering species from Panama and Colombia is a part of the closely related Difforme group. It is a small, compact growing epiphyte that may be grown in pots/baskets in a fast draining mix or mounted.
These are young, flowering sized plants in 3” pots. Photo #1 shows the parent plant; Photo #2 shows an example of the size plants offered for sale.
These grow well for us in our “Cattleya House”, which receives bright filtered light (2,500-3,000 foot candles) and is watered as the media dries.
