Seedlings (grown from seed).
Showy species endemic to the Bahamas. Mature plants produce approximately 2’-3’ tall spikes with numerous, intensely scented flowers. The plants offered for sale are young plants in 3” pots that are 2+ years from flowering. Photo #1 shows an example of what the flowers could look like (please note that these are seedlings and no two plants are identical). Photo #2 shows an example of the size plants in 3” pots.
These grow well for us in our “Cattleya House”, which receives bright filtered light (2,500-3,000 foot candles) and is watered when the media dries.
