The Coconut Orchid! Named for the lovely coconut-scented flowers it produces. Found from Mexico to Central America, the plant has small bulbs with long, thin, grass-like leaves. Small, HIGHLY fragrant red-brown flowers are produced down near the bulbs in Spring to early Summer (these typically flower for us sometime between Easter and Mother’s Day). These are nice plants in 4” Pots and are flowering size. Let the media just start to dry before watering (don’t let it dry completely).
