Bc. Bredren's Calypso
(Yellow Bird ‘Bredren’ AM/AOS x C. Jalapa ‘Bill Teel’ HCC/AOS)
Seedlings. A brand new hybrid from our breeding efforts. The first seedlings from this grex just started flowering in mid-October. We exhibited two first-bloom seedlings at the Gainesville Orchid Society Show on Oct. 22nd 2022 and both were awarded AM’s by the AOS judges! The photos feature the two awarded selections and show the great variability in flower colors we are expecting from this grex.
The plants offered for sale are young un-bloomed seedlings in 3” & 4”pots that should flower next year (2024), with proper care.
These grow well for us in our “Cattleya House”, which receives bright filtered light (2,500-3,000 foot candles) and is watered as the media dries.
