Very charming species from the Philippines that produces short spikes along mature canes, bearing clusters of mildly fragrant flowers that are white with a purple lip. We consider this a semi-deciduous plant as the canes may or may not drop the leaves in the winter before flowering in late Winter to early Spring. One of our favorite species!
Flowering size plants in 4” pots. First photo shows our awarded specimen plant ‘Bredren’s Spectacular’ CCE/AOS. Photo #2 shows a close-up of the flowers and the last photo shows an example of the size plants offered for sale.
We grows these warm in bright, filtered light. Water as the media is about to dry. A cool, dry Winter will promote flowering. Fragrant!
