Brassavola Yaki
(nodosa fma mini x appendiculata)
Grown from seed.
These are young, flowering size plants growing in 3” pots. Claude Hamilton’s remake of a very popular hybrid, this time using a dwarf growing form of B. nodosa. The intent here is to produce smaller, more compact growing plants.
Photo #1 shows an example of what the flowers look like. Photo #2 shows an example of the size plant being offered for sale (NO guarantee you will get a plant in flower/bud).
These do well mounted or in baskets. These grow well for us in our “Cattleya House”, which receives bright filtered light (2,500-3,000 foot candles) and is watered as the media dries.
